DESCRIPTION:The Auckland Walk 2 D'Feet MND is on Sunday\, 12 November at Ken Maunder Park in New Lynn. Please note that this is a different location to previous years' events in Auckland!\n\nCome to register and pick up your t-shirt and other merchandise from 9am. There will be a brief welcome then the walk will begin at 10:30am.\n\nThe walk is a 1km loop on flat terrain and it will be wheel-friendly for wheelchairs\, prams and strollers. Our lead walkers will do the loop 3 times. Feel free to join them as much as (or as little) you like. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear\, bring water\, and be prepared for all weather. Wet or fine\, we go ahead!\n\nKids are welcome. Dogs are welcome too – they may even like their own t-shirt! Just remember they need to be on a lead and under control.\n\nOur theme is Superheroes and Super-dogs! There will be live music\, bumper balls\, and face-painting. We will also have 'best dressed bikes' for under 6 years of age and even a Superhero Dog Parade!\n\nWalks 2 D’Feet MND are being held all over New Zealand as the main annual fundraiser for MND New Zealand. Half of the funds we raise will go towards supporting MND research in New Zealand\, and the other half will allow us to continue our crucial work providing support for people with MND and their carers.\n\n\nBumper Ball will be there and all proceeds from the day will go to MND NZ\n\n\nThere will be places available for businesses to set up stalls for a fee.
